Yin yoga is a deeply personal practice which is most effective when you tailor it to your own body’s needs. This course will teach you everything you need to know to practice yin yoga independently, taking you through not only all yin yoga poses but also the anatomy and philosophy involved.


17 learning sessions
To build an independent yin yoga practice, you need to first understand how it is practiced and why. The course covers the principles of yin and yang, origins of yin yoga, meridian theory, anatomy and physiology of yin yoga and practical tips for your own yin yoga practice.

25 pose tutorials
Yin yoga poses are held for several minutes so the emphasis is on quality rather than quantity. We will teach you all 25 main yin yoga poses, from Anahatasana all the way to Toe squat, including any variations and modifications. This will empower you to adjust the practice to your body’s needs.

16 practice classes
After learning about the principles of yin yoga and trying out all of the poses, you will be able to dive into practice with the 16 guided classes included with this course. The classes differ in their length and focus, from shorter, targeted classes to full body yin sessions.
